JC & Son
Model Photo Shoot
Capturing a Legacy of Craftsmanship Since 1964
Deliverables:
Moodboard Design . Props Sorting . Lighting Set Up . Photo Shooting . Photo Editing
To mark six decades of craftsmanship, I led a brand storytelling photoshoot for JC & Son, a heritage tailoring atelier founded in 1964 by Johny, whose one-man dedication has built a reputation for timeless, bespoke elegance.
The objective was to reposition the brand not just as a tailor, but as a living cultural legacy of Hong Kong—bridging artisanal heritage with modern relevance.
My Role: Photography . Styling . Photo Editing

Scene Composition & Storytelling
Atelier Details: Shot on-location inside the workshop, capturing aged wooden drawers, threads, scissors, and fine stitching to reveal the quiet poetry of craft.
Client Models: Featured three real clients as models, highlighting personal stories and showcasing JC & Son suits as both garments and heirlooms.
Urban Context: Extended the narrative into Central’s streets and a local beer house, juxtaposing sartorial refinement with modern Hong Kong life.
Results
The resulting photo series became a visual homage to artisanal precision and cultural continuity, positioning JC & Son as more than a tailoring service—it is a living heritage brand woven into the identity of the city. By blending heritage cues with lifestyle storytelling, the shoot strengthened emotional resonance and extended the brand’s relevance to a new generation of clients.
